ACIMS
Identification of critical medical events is the first step in collecting data required to alert health professionals and find ways to fend off biological threats, both naturally occurring and those that may possibly have originated as acts of biological warfare.
Under the ACIMS program, the Government has the capacity to respond quickly to medical threats with materials and data needed for analysis. Once having identified and zeroed in on a potential medical emergency, it is vitally important to ensure that preexisting medical care and treatment data are readily available to be tracked, managed, and reused. Data must be accessed globally, across multiple databases.
Spin Systems has worked hand-in-glove with the Government (specifically through the USAF Surgeon General's Office) and has designed and implemented a secure platform that facilitates information re-use, sharing, and collaboration. The Spin Systems solution also provides analytical tools that enable sharing of clinical data and rapid deployment of medical event analysis.
